Skills development in sustainable development.

Competence development meets the curriculum's changes regarding sustainable development and interdisciplinary perspectives. The content is based on the global goals and the visualization lab Vislab, which uses advanced visualization technology to explain the world.

The competence development includes three occasions of progression. Each session is 3 hours and is held at Universeum.

After booking, participating teachers get a place in a learning group. Each learning group includes 20 participants from different schools, who carry out the entire competence development together.

Leisure-time centres

Science club including skills development in natural sciences.

In the Science Club, students explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by building, experimenting, creating, and inspiring. The work is interdisciplinary and is based on the recreation centre's mission.

The Science Club is carried out in six stages over eight weeks at each school's after-school centre, and will be a professional development initiative aimed at all teachers/educators within the leisure-time centre.

The Global Goals in schools, including skills development.

The school development programme Global Goals in School strengthens teachers' methods and working methods regarding learning for sustainable development and pupils' learning in science, technology and sustainable development. The programme creates commitment and action competence for sustainability issues, through its interdisciplinary perspective and starting point in real global challenges.

The SDGs in schools are implemented over eight weeks in six stages, with different themes adapted to the different stages. What they all have in common is that they all explore challenges linked to sustainable development.
