SPECIES IN THE REPTILARIUM.

Many of the snakes in the Reptilarium are some of the most poisonous creatures on earth, but also some of the most endangered and rare species. Here are some of the species you may encounter:

BLUE INSULARIS PIT VIPER

Occurs in different geographical locations in the colors: green, yellow and blue.

Black Headed bushmaster

Hard to find and venomous. Locals call the snake 'the ghost of Costa Rica's forests.

Ethiopian Mountain Adder

A fairly unknown species, described by the locals as dangerous. The antidote is the SAMIR serum.

GILA MONSTER

Using the toxic saliva of the Gila monster, a medication for type 2 diabetes has been developed.

INLAND TAIPAN

The world's most venomous snake. One bite is enough to kill 30 people.

MANGSHAN PIT VIPER

Also called "green dragon", an endangered species. Only 300-500 individuals remain in the wild.

Santa Catalina skallerorm

A rattlesnake without a rattle. Today, only a few hundred snakes remain in the wild.
