In the documentary Mission Space, we follow Swedish astronaut Marcus Wandt on his historic journey to the International Space Station (ISS). Featuring unique footage of the preparations, launch and life in weightlessness, the film captures both the technical adventure and the human experience of leaving Earth behind.
European Space Agency astronaut Marcus Wandt became the third Swede in space in 2024 as part of the Ax-3 mission to the ISS. During his time aboard the station, he conducted research and experiments in weightlessness alongside international astronaut colleagues.
Mission Space is not only a story about technology and science – it is also a personal portrayal of courage, curiosity and humanity’s desire to explore the unknown.
