Wilderness Walk

Wilderness Walk

Join us on a journey through the Wilderness, from icy polar regions to the West Coast cliffs. Along the way, we'll encounter everything from space-traveling apple trees to ancient fish!

Earth is a unique planet thanks to its position in the universe, its tilt, and its protective atmosphere – and this is evident in its varied climates. During our walk, we explore two of Earth's climate zones, starting at the cold poles. We then move southward toward the temperate zone, through coniferous forests and open cultural landscapes.

On our way, we pass the apple tree whose branches have been to space, take a closer look at the ancient Atlantic sturgeon, and spot Swedish amphibians and reptiles. Every step we take tells us something about life on Earth and the nature around us.
